4. Panzer-Division

German Armored Division level 2. Starting location in EUROPE 1939 scenario at 139|85, near Breslau.
Unit's strength is at 3 points and Action Points are equal to 8. Effective strength is increased to 4.3 due to commander and Warfare doctrine level modifiers.
Historically 4. Panzer-Division was formed in October 1938 in Wurzburg. 4. Panzer- Division under the command of Generalleutnant Georg-Hans Reinhardt, part of XVI. Armeekorps 10. Armee had 341 tanks: 183 Panzer I, 130 Panzer II, 12 Panzer IV and 16 command tanks in two armored regiments in September 1939. Apart from that the division had a motorized infantry regiment, an artillery regiment and divisional units. Unit's battle trail began with the battle of Mokra and led through France, Ukraine, Kursk, Courland just to end with capitulation in Danzig. During that time the unit got the most battle decorations from every unit under Heer. Hermann Bix served in this unit, he was the sixteenth most effective tank man, who destroyed over 75 enemy tanks. Dietrich von Saucken also served in this unit, he was the general decorated with Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds.

USS Yorktown

USS Yorktown (CV-5) is a Carrier Group and is a part of US Navy Atlantic Fleet.
This Carrier Group's strength is set at 9 of the maximum 10. This is due to the representation of each Carrier Group which at full strength is equal to one CV and five DDs. Unfortunately Atlantic Fleet lacked one DD and this has reduced strength of this group. USS Yorktown was commissioned on September 30, 1937 and it was sunk during the Battle of Midway. In Time of Wrath, graphical representation of US Carrier Group is made by Essex class Carrier. Next USS Yorktown (CV-10) belongs to this class.

6th Airborne Division

6th Airborne Division is level 3 British Airborne Division in FRANCE 1944 scenario stationing at 13|6, between Plymouth and Southampton.
This unit's base strength is set to 70% of 2.5 and effective strength is equal to 2.8 due to the warfare level modifier.
6th Airborne Division was formed after an order from British War Office on April 23, 1943. Under the command of general Richard Gale the division made a paradrop in Normandy, securing the flank of the army landing on the Sword beach. The paratroopers took control of the Pegasus Bridge, which they held against German armor until reinforcements arrived. Unitās second grand operation was the crossing of Ren in 1945. Taught from the Market Garden experience, where the 6th Airborne Division didnāt participate, they avoided frightening losses of their brothers in arms the 1st Airborne Division.

101 Motorized Division Trieste

Italian 101 Motorized Division Trieste starts the EUROPE 1939 scenario as level 2 motorized infantry division at 131|113, near Triest with full strength equal to 1.5 points and 7 AP. It's effective strength has been reduced to 1.2 due the reduced ā peacetime ā supply level.
One of the best Italian divisions, which fortitude and bravery was seen through years of war in Africa. The Trieste division participated with different luck in battles of Tobruk, Gazala, El Alamein and in Tunisia. Until the capitulation in May 1943, soldiers of the 101 Motorized Division took hundreds of Englishmen, New Zealanders and Hindus captive, and destroyed many Allied armored vehicles. It was one of the few Italian division that the Germans considered to be valuable.

352. Infanterie-Division

352. Infanterie-Division was deployed in FRANCE 1944 scenario at 19|13 ā in Caen - with full strength equal to 2 points, increased to 3.8 by commander and warfare level modifiers.
This level 3 unit has been very well known historically for tenacious defense of Omaha Beach during D-Day. This unit was formed in November 1943 in France and begun it's duty as coastal defense force. The soldiers of the 916th and 726th regiments occupied trenches, eight concrete bunkers, 35 pillboxes, six mortar pits, 35 Nebelwerfer (multi-barrel rocket launcher) sites and 85 machine-gun nests. The defenses were clustered in strongpoints.
The 352nd was destroyed in the fighting following the invasion, and on July 30 the 352nd was declared abgekampft, meaning the division was no longer fit for combat. The division was reconstituted as the 352nd Volksgrenadier Division in September, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Since then it fought defensively around Trier and Moselle until it was destroyed once again in mid-March 1945, with only a small remnant escaping across the Rhine at Worms. It was partially reconstituted one last time as a battle group in mid-April, and ended its career near Darmstadt.
